Does anyone know if its possible to add your own maps? i had some darn nice maps made in the good old days and would love to play them on my n900.

I thought there was a way to open the .MIX files and put them in there?

Update....

I found it... this is the link.

http://xhp.xwis.net/utilities/XCC_Utilities.exe

there are several programs in there with one you can open mix files and with mixer you can open the mix files and extract them to where you want. this is handy because the mix files contain again mix files. now i only need to find the maps!

Rules.ini is in the redalert.mix and then local.mix file.

the rules.ini file is for adjusting things like damage for units amount of money it wil cost and that kind of stuff... still looking for the maps though

The few games in skirmish I played were hard, clicking seems to be buggy and the AI often just goes brain dead

This looks like it would be a very nice addition to what the n900 runs. The iPhone red alert 3 is rubbish.

Played this for a bit last night and had the battery temp up to 55 degrees C within half an hour (locked at 1150...had to drop my max in xterm to 805 for fear of starting a fire).
Would love full functionality as lack or right click means you cant cancel structures once you've started to build. Also getting the attack cursor (rather than the move cursor) can be quite hard sometimes (especially getting harvesters to harvest).
Having the full game would be wicked but fully functioning skirmish would do me just fine : )

with 1100 mhz my phone keeps quite cool and i have 60 FPS but it would be great to have a right mouse button with a key combo like shift click or something. and an ingame speed increase.

I just mentioned that the game crashes to desktop when screen goes black. more people encounter this?
