ok i renamed the file properly but still nothing happening??

The other thing that can cause problems is the total directory + filename length (Windows has some limits for this), so try renaming the firmware file to something like OS.bin

Hey,
You should probably try this:
- In command prompt first start to write flasher[TABULATOR]
- It should automatically fill it
- Continue writing with -F and RX-51[TABULATOR] and -f -R

Hmmm im certain im doing it right but it still looks like its not happy with the firmware file?? also,should this be showing as a VLC media file???

just shows %m when hit enter.

Don't worry about it showing up as a VLC file - that just means that VLC has registered itself to handle .bin files (which only matters if you double click it). Did you try renaming it?

yes i renamed it to exactly what was suggested,im at a loss as to what im doing wrong now

That's really weird. Can you post the output of running flasher this time, as well as the output from running "dir" in the cmd console.

Yeah to me it sounds like firmware file is not located in the same folder as flasher-3.5.exe
