I have tried contacting OVI twice about the fact I paid for a game and cannot download it, still no reply.

In fact I contacted again there now and the message stating that they will respond as soon as possible just made me really angry.

I can't pay with my mastercard either, while it works just fine everywhere else. Pretty amateurish.

I emailed them and got the following response..... They do not know when they will fix this, and have the nerve to ask if I would let them know if this e-mail solves my issue...

sigh....

++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hi,

Thank you for emailing Nokia,
Yes, there has been issue with payments in Ovi Store, Nokia is fixing this issue. There is no update as to when this issue will be fixed. We apologize for this inconvenience. May we know the applications that you are trying to download? You may also try to check with the developers website if the application would work for your device.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or not.

Thanks,
Matt

[Message: Ovi Store has been unable to process any credit card for the past few months. It is not a problem with my cards: they all work. Ovi has problems - see the threads in maemo.org.

When will this very simple problem be fixed? If you cannot fix it, then just outsource your billing system to paypal. At least you might keep a few customers after the rest jump to apple.

What I do have a problem with is despite my desire to support Nokia and thus Meamo and Meego, I'm being rejected.

It's sad, becuase the N900 hardware and software wise provides the kind experience I want. I want to be able to use my phone how I please and not how Apple or Google wish. Sadly Nokia continues to drop the ball.

I had the same thing happen to me, and then when I went to the contact page, it was 404. I'm glad...No, I'm relieved to see that I am not the only one to be screwed by the ovi store.

Wonder if I can get the level packs directly from Rovio...
