so i cannot compare cpu readings in cpufrequi and battery temp readings?

the battery is close to cpu so is it possible that the heat produced by the cpu is the battery's?

Well, it will be close, but lower. After a while, the temperature shown should be fairly close(if the cpu usage stays constant), but it will always be lower.
