I would give WM7 some time to prove itself though. The development of the WM 6 OS was painfully slow all the time I was with it. And I refuse to go back given Moorestown is so close now.

For a good optical zoom, I would tolerate several centimeters long lens retractable lens assembly, like on digital cameras.

My first reaction it was Nokia trying to be "modern" and trying to catch on to the "NO U" meme. The five year delay would've been about right for typical big corp slow movement.

If you didn't realize yet, the Nokia U is the result of the "Design by community" polls. Nokia didn't choose the specs or the name, the readers of Nokia Conversations did it by voting. The sketches were obviously designed to fit in the overall design of N-, X- and C/Eseries respectively.
