okay now when using multiboot
you will have 3 options right?
1. maemo 5 *original one*
2.maemo 5 *powerkernel* it will have 10power37
3.nitdroid

chose the second option
if that doesnt work then use the following code
Code:
sudo gainroot
apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power kernel-power-flasher

@Bakuur: To do it more fail safe maybe you should just let them do it in terminal. Just make them download and run the script. Let the script do all the work.. like looking if rootsh and power-kernel is installed.

"dpkg -l" will let you know if the user have it installed. If rootsh not installed than prompt and error and tell them to do so. If power-kernel not installed then "apt-get install power-kernel power-kernel-settings -y" so it get's installed.

I'll take a look at it.. but it was just an idea. You pretty much just need to add an if-statement in the beginning of the script to make sure this things are installed. If not; exit.. else continue.

this is a tough one :/
since when i had nitdroid i had 3 options but i uninstalled it long ago

well your problem is the power kernel isnt loading at boot up
but instead loading the original default kernel

try to reinstall with the code i provided above

and when rebooting leave the keyboard closed

hopefully then it will work

ahh no worries

well try to manually OC your n900
to see if it works,
Code:
sudo gainroot
kernel-config load ideal
kernel-config limits 500 805
then in order to see if it worked type in this
Code:
kernel-config show
and tell us if the min and max frequencies changed to 500min and 805max
