i mean ok he acts like a child and is really annoying, but puberty is really hard.
sometimes you are sad, sometimes angry and you can't do something about that

Looks like it. But it is harder to get back up and catch up with Apple in this game. It may take more than a couple of years of trying to get back on its feet.

Whether Nokia is serious or not, there won't be a magic moment in 2011, 2012 may be but 2011 may be too soon to tell. Apple is already celebrating and partying every night for its victory in Smart Phone industry, though it lost to MS big time in the OS war lol.

I hope he doesn't have STI lol. That would be terrible for such closed source device and OS. I never thought puberty hit at the age of 55

I disagree, it's not just a marketing slogan. I think being closed has one advantage and this is it.

not really, look how quickly blackberry and android shot up. Nokia has the advantage of being well known, well respected, they've been in the game a long time and their devices get a lot of attention. A new OS on the scene will shake things up. Lots of people go to Android because they don't want an iPhone but think Android is the only smartphone alternative. Nokia's comeback could change that pretty quickly if orchestrated properly. They have the funds, name, advertising avenues and build quality to rapidly get back in the running. Remember, Apple changed the smartphone outlook with one device and no mobile phone name, Blackberry went from an email device to a big name amongst young users and Android rapidly came from nowhere - Nokia is already world number 1, a massive advantage. If a device as incredible as the N900 gets little promotion, consider how incredible future devices they do promote could potentially be. iOS hasn't advanced, Android is a market flooder, if they want to, Nokias can adjust the whole landscape like they have so many times before

wasn't he the one who also said something about hell freezing over should macs make the switch to Intel based processors???

it's his money, his numbers, and his event. so i guess he has the right to be arrogant. but like most tech visionaries, they've said wrong things before in the past.

i don't like steve jobs, and i don't like what apple builds because of him.

Of cource it is. But it is only part of the reality. MeeGo is both, fully open and fully closed at the same time. It makes software (the OS) a commodity that any hardware manufacturer can use and shape it as he pleases and close it up (in relation to the consumer).

When MeeGo starts rolling, it will shake up the industry so bad that Microsoft, Google and Apple will cry for mummy.

Nokia hadn't build anything great lately, well should I say the past 2years. If only Nokia would brave enough to risk a little bit on bringing out high spec devices that beyond the competitors imagination (for example A9 with 1024MB RAM). Its has the fame and the money but right now Nokia is in a big super dipper and slowly losing market share. Nokia should stop producing too many products at the top end (Fewer may be better, right now too many) and provide OS upgrades I think this would make my dream come true.

Don't worry Steve went through a lot of health problem, I really hope his second hand liver would fail and also his pancreas as well.

He still got 10years before his retirement or whatever the US retirement age is (NZ retirement age is now 65 ) ,
