Ummm.... I think my post was misunderstood. I am saying the Cliq is a god awful phone, not the n900.

Some things the N900 does extremely well.

Some (like Ovi Maps) need major help.

I still have yet to find that ultimate, perfect device though.

Something to say about the n900... Don't use xterm, don't modify it, don't install custom stuffs in there. Then good luck bricking your n900. It should be stable as it is. Doing such stuffs on android would lead you also to the same situation as with n900(That is if you can do most of it on android?). And about the apps well all I could say maps isn't everything on a smartphone.

Swear, tear and beat the crap out of nokia & I won't mind. But on n900? That's a different situation

If it's brave of him to post this, it must have been super-extraordinarily brave plus for the other hundreds who have posted almost identical messages.

But then, why are you helping to keep the thread alive by posting to it? I'm always impressed by the criticism that the original post is pointless, when your follow-up is to point out the pointlessness, thereby making the reply far more pointless than the original posting.

Maybe when you learn to read you will notice that my post didn't say one single word about pointlessness or posting or keeping threads alive. It addressed your statement that the OP was brave. I disagreed.

Please explain what your response had to do with what I said.
