Maybe this could help, i had the same problem a while ago
Do you still see the folder DCIM in your MyDocs.
The update creates a .camera folder but pics taken from the camera wont be saved there,
if you don't find the DCIM folder, add it manualy and try again to take a picture.

You need rootsh installed for this to work
Code:
sudo gainroot
umount /dev/mmcblk0p1
fsck -af /dev/mmcblk0p1
mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 /home/user/MyDocs

hello , thx 4 ur reply , the folder "Camera" is still in there and pictures are in it ...

Hello , thx for answering , tryed it , it has succesfully mounted but still have the same problem . Does it need a restart ?

It started all when my Antiwir deleted some random files , i couldnt get them back . Mybe my only option is flash ? I hope not

EDIT :

Resolved by flashing the n900 ....

i have the same problem too, i can't save pictures and videos on N900 internal memory, i tryed deleting/formatting the internal memory, but nothing happens, same problem! If i put a SD on the device i can take pictures and videos, the internal memory works becouse if i reflash and if i don't keep on it the CSSU i can use all features with no any kind of error..

I need your help becouse i can't trash away 13 giga of optfs backup and my custom Rootfs and Optfs. soo sad :'''''''(
