I got my first N900 upon the very first shipment to be recieved by distribution channels in the US as I was working for a IT sales company that worked very closely with Ingram Micro, Tech Data, Synnex etc at the time. I think I had one of the week one production devices. I actually sold a few phones to some members on this forum as well, but guess what out of the 30 or so phones I sold, mine was the only one that had the get bootstate issue and it had to be returned. I had to wait 4 horrible weeks before distribution got the 2nd batch of phones in before I got my N900, it was sometime in December when I got the N900 I own now, and yeah my keyboard is pretty much gone as far as the printing goes, but do I love this phone.

Mine is from November 2009 (verkkokauppa.com preorder), absolutely no problems aside from those brighter spots on the screen that most everybody seem to have. Fortunately no loose USB connector, that would've been a major PITA.

I got mine on 7th December 09 after living in the Mobilephonesdirect thread for two months (remember? ). Screen protector from the first minute, I haven't actually touched the screen itself yet. Keyboard fine, with all lettering, usb port fine with daily usage, only back cover show signs of slight wear in the contact points where it touches the desk when laid down. Overclocked to 1GHz for whole of last year, now down to 805 to use smartreflex, all fine, this thing will go on for years!
