I noticed the same thing and I suspect he's made this tweak to enable landscape mode:
http://everythingn9.com/how-to-activ...ur-homescreen/
That's what I found after watching the video at least, and it successfully enabled landscape for me.
Edit: I have not applied the new transitions files yet so I don't know if the landscape change is included with what he posted too.
"you then need to run xterminal and type:
devel-su [press enter]
rootme [press enter]
cd /home/user/MyDocs [press enter]
mv /usr/ / [press enter]
"
is that all the commands u need to enter xterm? or is there more to it?

The transition file is not included, I have done it on my N9, and can successfully say it works. In case you don't have the landscape mod follow this link:
http://everythingn9.com/how-to-activ...ur-homescreen/
and go through the steps, written by me, so I can vouch they work...
Follow that, I double checked it a couple of times, so I am certain it works.

you need to enable developer mode in setings > device, this will install xterminal. phone will reboot.
copy "usr" folder from zip file to MyDocs (which is root directory when connected to PC via USB)
you then need to run xterminal and type:
devel-su [press enter]
rootme [press enter]
cd /home/user/MyDocs [press enter]
mv /usr/ / [press enter]
.

Hi guys, this phone is bascially my introduction in to linux...
but the last step..
mv /usr/ / [press enter]
wouldn't that just take the root usr folder and move it to root.. hence no change ??

As you are located in MyDocs.. it will take the folder "/home/user/MyDocs/usr/" and move it to "/". It will then merge the content with the /usr/ already there.
