Great job on the browser! Even at this stage it's certainly my favourite - just add a proper adblocker and there will be no reason to run MicroB anymore.

But apart from ad blocking, I have two small feature requests which in my opinion would increase usability:

- It would be nice to get better visual feedback that a click on a link has been registered. I know the progress bar thingamabob in the bottom of the screen starts its rotation pretty much instantly, but it's not very noticeable as it is rather small (which is good). Something like the red "loading" box you get in GMail would be nice.
- The ability to hide the toolbar while in fullscreen mode is great, there's never too much vertical space. However, it would be handy to be able to go back several entries in the history without having to show the toolbar, for example by pressing the back-button a little while longer. Ideally it would be awesome to get thumbnails of the pages, like in the Series60 browser, but even just a text list would be nice.

Anyway, great work as it is even.

Holding down the back button is seen as a "kill this app" kind of command by maemo, so that i think is a no-go.

And now you reminded me that lately i have found that tear have a habit of jumping multiple pages back when one have one of those pesky double-taps (the threshold for a tap is driving me nuts sometimes), resulting in quite a bit of back and forth...

Maybe have tear ignore taps on the back and forward button when its trying to load a page? If one wants to go far back in history there is the long tap now, so...

Ah, you're right, forgot about that one. Perhaps holding down D-pad left, for example?

Ok, I suck at suggestions. I guess displaying the toolbar manually and holding down the back arrow is the way to go.

Have you tried a hosts file for ad-blocking? It works well with tear.

Could you upload a "hosts file" that's working well for you? I'd prefer not to "re-invent the wheel", as they say.

thanks Bundyo for u Great work, i finally updated to 3.1.1-2 with Qole repository....feature request It would be nice to put zoom like MicroB, cuz in tear to zoom 180% u have to click many times to reach there, but in the other hand in MicroB one click easy right?...

Sorry, I can't define it any better than I did. It works sometimes and sometimes not. It breaks along the way. Sometimes it never works to begin with. I don't see the pattern yet, but it's certainly hugely annoying.

As long as its optional, right? As i kinda like the more fine grained zoom...
