Yeah, that's a real shame since the emulation is pretty much perfect. Did something happen to anunakin?

Are you trying to play 'Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes' OR 'Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 ?

EDIT

If its 'Marvel Vs capcom Clash of Super Heroes' use the rom called mshvsf.zip - (Euro 970625) version

It runs about 72% speed with choppy sound

Hey guys, i'm glad to see this MAME port still getting use. I had full intentions of releasing new versions from upstream as they became available, but i finally moved across the country and unfortunately wasn't able to take my linux box with me. I haven't had regular access to any computer besides my 7-year-old windows laptop for more than six months... if i didn't have my N900 as well, i would probably be insane by now.

Many thanks to those still providing "technical support," as it were, in this thread.

Classic example of arbitrary Nokia decision making. Couldn't just fallback to the no brainer of tagging with lat/lon if network isn't accessible, could you Nokia?
MAME: an arcade in your pocket
Accelemymote: make your accelerometer more joy-ful

Just FYI...

Good to see you're still around Flandry.

My New Years wish list still includes the hope that someone will port an older version of mame (v 0.37) because i still believe that would give us a smoother mame experience although it would not be compatible with newer roms, but pre 2000 roms i think should play smoother.

Great to see you're still on TMO Flandry! Your version of mame is apparently still the best all around. It's so good in fact that we've been getting a bunch of porting requests by android users on TMO.

** I am now officially begging **

i can't believe it came to this.

(Request)

Would someone be up to the challenge of doing a port of mame4all (v 0.37B5) from the gp2x wiz. i am confident this version will give us a better mame experience even on stock n900's (not oc'd) with tv out and wireless sixaxis this should stop small tablet phone owners laughing at our n900.

Here is a link to Franxis site with the wiz version and source code just scroll down to mame.

Come on guys over 2000 classic arcade games should play really well but we will only find out if someone takes this project on board.

Thanks in advance.
