FTA:
Simple app that lets you see what locations have been cached on your android device.
You can take a look at them in a list (text) and on map.
When will the madness end? I will certainly champion ROMs that disable this feature, as my whereabouts are my business. I don't mind sharing my location/information, its just that I don't completely trust corporations to use it to my benefit.

This android browser seems to get top marks from one dude, at least. It may be worth looking into!

I have been watching the progress of this Miren for some time and it continues to improve.

My favourite is still xScope

Tabbed browsing: Long press on the link opens the page in a new tab in the background. Side swipe accesses the tab

Full screen toggle via Menu press

Settings options are very configurable, e.g. User Agent as Computer, Mobile, etc. My Streak 5 deals perfectly with full browsing and I do not want to be directed to mobile versions.

Flash is configurable to either Automatic or On Demand.

Clean management of downloads.

The developer is very active and responsive to requests and suggestions.

It is not free but at only £1.81 who complains.

I've been rockin' the Dolphin for all of those same reasons (except it doesn't have a menu item for full-screen toggling and doesn't cost anything--no idea of responsiveness since I've never had to contact the developer). Tabbing works GREAT on Dolphin with either swiping or, as I prefer it, a zoom-out expose-like array of web site screenshots for tabs you can zoom back into. Most of all, Dolphin works fast and I LIKE being able to block Flash content (with on-demand tapping to enable).

I find Dolphin Add-Ons to be very useful too. Things like save webpage as pdf.

Here's a good Transformer review.

But $149 proprietary keyboard docks cannot be the future (except for Apple). Also, as a developer, the lack of NEON support in the Tegra 2 reminds me of a Celeron. At $399 with a quad-core Kal-El the tablet portion would be tough to pass up.

It seems like a decent product; it certainly makes a WiFi-only Xoom a fail.

It seems that I'm not the only one that thinks a pen with a slate is a good idea... Check this out:

The tablet is a highly competitive $499.



This has the capacity to be a serious contender among nerds and businessmen alike.

I really hope that this is the beginning of a trend. Pen input is useful in situations where the finger falls short. This joins the ranks of the HTC flyer, the Asus MeMo, but with a larger input (an presumably battery life -- thanks to a larger battery), which would be great for those that rely upon the pen stroke.

Nice to see this level of quality on the platform. With this an Unreal Engine 3, I expect titles like this to continue to surface.
