Hi everybody

I bought a used n9 yesterday & that was working find but when i tried to set factory reset it asked me for security code . The buyer didn't put any kind of code & now when i start up the phone it demand a security code I tried to flash it many times but it still not work > Today the phone suddenly log in & i just have enough time to set usb mode to Sync . >

Is there a way to flash it without logging in ( dead usb mode) I tried but the computer didn't recognize the phone

Please Kinda crack to help me ?

are you sure you have the exact same error messages? If yes, then its a failure in flash memory that cant be fixed via flashing etc... It is a.hardware issue that Nokia Care must handle.

can you try erasing user data method from first post:

Code:
flasher -f -F main.bin --erase-user-data=secure
flasher -f -F main.bin -F emmc.bin --flash-only=mmc

Hi!

My Nokia N9 has been having a reboot loop. Since there wasn't any valuable data on it, I decided the easyest thing to do would be to flash it.

However, the phone always turns off about a minute into the flashing process.

Any idea what's going on?

Make sure your phone is turned off and follow the commands one post before yours by me and it should work...

Good work!! But.. When I type "flasher -f -F main.bin" my N9 seems not alive.. It couldn't turn it on and charge it.
I solve the problem typing "flasher -F main.bin -f".. Why??

You might have made some mistakes as the commands can be turned around...next time just use flasher -f -F main.bin -R so it reboots after flashing...
