Ok, played around with the armadillo lizard and made several variations. Even showed what the logo could look like with him in it. Not that I expect that would actually be used.
Anyway it was a fun exercise and if nothing else keeps the graphic skills current.

this idea just popped in my mind while reading this. since the penguin is already the symbol of linux, then we can just modify it a bit orange-y motif to suit maemo which is a form of linux with a cocky attitude...
one hand holds a spear with a pierced head of an android
the other hand is crushing an apple
a spotlight can be seen on the floor with the 4 colors of windows beneath the penguin's feet symbolizing winmo is beneath maemo
what do you guys think? feel free to draw what i imagined...=)

How about a water molecule.
