Can anybody help me on this problem ^^
What does the log say? What connection mode did you chose? The settings that fMMS fills in automatically are 100% correct as I'm using them with Tele2 SE and has been since the start

OK delete the settings voda phone sent me. There lies the problem. I cant delete the "contract internet" settings that VF sent me. It does not show up in fapn and in settings internet the option to delete the settings is greyed out when I select the settings.
To delete it you'd have to use gconftool-2 and the terminal, I can't tell you exact steps since the keyname is different on each IAP, but general outline is
gconftool-2 -R /system/osso/connectivity/IAP
then figure out which of the IDs is the one you want to remove and then do
gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /system/osso/connectivity/IAP/<id>

Unable to install 'fmms'
some aplication pakages required for the installation is missing.

and tell me will i need that APN software aswell ? as i reset my handset before upgrading to pr 1.2.

thanks. in old PR it was working fine..
It should be visible from the app manager. Look under 'Network'. Installing manually means you have to install dependencies manually so I suggest sticking to app manager.

E-mail the log to me, if you don't have the email address, drop me a PM. Thanks!

The only problem I seem to be having with fmms is that it keeps connecting to the mms server instead of my internet when I want to go online. My default connection is my T-Mobile internet.

Does anyone know how to setup the n900 on Softbank Japan. I keep finding people who are posting tiny little bits and pieces and they figure out the problem, but they don't post what they did to resolve their problems and get it working. The exact settings used would be extremely helpful

By the looks of it you have not put any thing at all in the configuration dialogs, which is why it doesn't work...

@madserv: If you are not online on any access point when trying to send it *should* connect to the MMS APN in Polite, if you are already connected to the WAP APN it will just try to send through that one.

Great job. I feel silly with bothering you but I read the wiki and all the posts. I can received MMS but when I try to send, it says: resizing and sending for like 10mins and nothing happens?
