My point is I preordered on 10/10. It is unfair that someone could just pay the 650 and get one right away, although I am tempted to do so.

seeing how well this whole process is going so far, I might open my ups box and find a palm pre. I may be laughing on the outside when I say that, but crying on the inside....

You see i always suspected that newegg has this phone in stock. It will really piss me off when i talk to them in few hrs about my order not being processed seeing that they now have the phone. I better not hear from some stupid rep that the release date is still 11/30. I placed my order 10/22/09. I will so royally whine at them in few hrs that they will have no choice but to process my order. Damn *****es!

So are MPD bu**s***** when they say that they will be first people to have the n900?

Hmm... I wonder if they put the peoples pre-orders in the loop who call/online chatted to them about them haveing stock. I mean that was the first thing I did when I seen it in stock on there page for a bit. I open a online chat with them.

My order is Charged. I ordered from them on 10/22. When found out NokiaUSA was not going to ship in Oct.

so what did the rep say. I had no time today to chat with the reps to see if they got the N900....

Add Amazon to that as well. Just got confirmation that they are sending the phones out to pre-orders whom originally ordered at the full price Amazon listed the device at ( $589.99 ). Sad thing is those lucky bastards still get a refund to correspond with the lowest price Amazon had it listed for, between the time they place the order and the time they ship the order.

Amazon can diaf, I swear greedy ****ing people...companies ***** and moan because they aren't making enough profit--fight for your business for pre-orders on products they know you're going to want--yet they should know not going in-order of when you placed your order for the device will only in-rage us, and drive us all away to another product.

Nokia, Amazon, Newegg, Dell--all shipping to the highest paying customers in-order to boost fourth quarter profits, driving up stock prices and thus making their stock holders happy. When it comes down to it--the public companies that are selling these units, will make us 'lower priced orderer's' wait till Jan or Feb in-order to pump up their profits.

This is starting to feel like a marriage that has lost its magic. There is just no hope anymore. I offer my congratulations to those that did get their device but its really sad is that we feel like we need congratulate each other. It simply shouldn't be this way That is very very very sad sad sad. There needs to be some sort of consumer protection for things like this and companies that do business in this manner should suffer negative consequences. perhaps complaining to the BBB, but i doubt that will help.
