Yup its a bug; you need to mkdir yourself...

Edit: Schturman, you have now moved to X.y.z in version numbers and upgrading only .z so is this the new norm? Then i can keep only the latest 3 .z versions in wiki instead of keeping latest 3 .y versions (currenlty this = 9 .z versions)

Its pretty easy if you follow his instructions to get it up

I'll do it later today and let you know how it goes...

Demn.. It so weird...
I tested it a few times (via inception) and again no any problem!
I don't understand why for some people it does not want to create this folder ".status-menu"..
We need to find this reason.
For those who have this problem, try again:
* uninstall all from tweak T-3, wait when it will reinstall original sys-ui.
* maybe try reboot
* install again for inception:
T-3-1-1-0-R-1-1
or for open mode:
T-3-1-3-0-R-3-1
* put here the full log from installation, after pressing "0".

Schturman,

CONGRATULATIONS!

Tweak T-3 looks to have resolved the issues...If I paste the logs here you will go crazy

Full logs can be found here

Where the paste ends is where the system went for a reboot...

For open mode, I did ALL APPLETS installation and all of them installed this time round...Folders created...I think its perfect this time!

the foldee creation simply doesnt work. Have had a discussion about this with coderus and he doesnt understand why this happens. Guess it has something to do with permissions. Mkdir doesnt even work for me in /home/user. Tried to change permission level to 777 just to test but that gave me also an error.

Regarding the r option, afer restoring from inverted theme, the add file option as well as the symbol on the left side (next to smiley) are not correctly restored. Could you check?

Same issue with v9.0.5? What I did was a total re-installation of system-ui, reboot and then used Tweak T-3...It looks to be fixed this way...Logs on my earlier post for reference...In the logs you can see it says no such file/directory but after the installaiton i did a ls check and you can see its created...

Thedead1440, it's not fear :P, you reinstalled sys-ui manually..
If you do it from tweak it will also remove .status-menu folder if it exist.

But i removed the folder; you can see i renamed it to .status-menu-backup...

See the ls check; only then I started the installation

This is small error is ok, it should be because Coderus added chown command before creating folder .status-menu. Only this way it start creating folder. After 9.0.4 Coderus created a few version of sys-ui on only the last one work like expected.
