how do you guys run the test to see if its stable? is it some calculation ? how do I do it?? THANKS

A good way is to try creating a bzip2 file; it's a fairly CPU and memory intensive process.

Try something like:

gtar vjcf ~/test.tar.bz2 /usr

... I can't remember if bzip2 or GNU tar was part of the standard distribution or not. You may need to install them if you want to try this.

just OC and i use my phone as usual.

do any off u no know what this do "temp1_input_raw"? i know this is a temp thing but is it more precis than "temp1_input"

"/sys/devices/platform/omap34xx_temp/temp1_input_raw"

i get 2 diffrent (cpu?)temp readings from this..

"/sys/devices/platform/omap34xx_temp/temp1_input"
22

and

"/sys/devices/platform/omap34xx_temp/temp1_input_raw"
46

and both ar fluxuating to...

temp_input_raw is probably a resistance reading which varies by temperature; temp_input is the calculated "true" temperature at any given moment.

That is, temp_input_raw is probably not linear with the actual temperature.

Remember to test your DSP as well! The DSP appears to share the VDD1 rail voltage with the CPU, so even though the CPU may be stable, the DSP might lock up. Play some videos and try recording videos with the camera.

Check your kernel log (dmesg) for anything about the DSP bridge timing out.
