it always shows 900 MHz, does that mean that my cpu is running at 900MHz all the time? ye.. i'm a noob, i know.

thanks for your answers.
You could try this:
cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/stats/time_in_state

It tells how much time the cpu has spent at different clock speeds.

This thread has seriously taken off but I've missed alot

I'm overclocked @ 900Mhz with 500DSP with Lehto's old kernel.

Is this the best one for these settings?

Should try other ones? Don't worry about giving tutorials, I'll find the methods myself

simply ignore that file - it's not reliable.
The battery temperature could be more interesting

Code:
modprobe bq27x00_battery
cat /sys/class/power_supply/bq27200-0/temp
Hi!
it did not work.. how do i get "modprobe bq 27x00_battery" to start automatic when i reboot the phone? can i put it in the ulv kernel, and how, or ?

I'm sure there are many non-experts on this forum who would love to hear someone say "10 years at 1Ghz should be safe" but we simply don't know what's really safe.
Safe wrt to warranty are only the stock settings or lower voltages (but not for the data).
Ok, you do make a good point.

Hi all..still have the problem after reflashing..

Before re-flash, i've some scripts with this commands associated with, for exemple, queen_beecon widget:

sudo modprobe bq27x00_battery
echo Temp: `cat /sys/class/power_supply/bq27200-0/temp` °C

sudo echo 1000000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq

sudo echo 900000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq

sudo echo 800000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/scaling_max_freq

echo 125000 250000 550000 600000 750000 805000 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/ondemand/avoid_frequencies

Now, on X-TErminal, all of these commands returns "Cannot create file...Permission Dennied". SO strange.
Nothing related to R&D mode, i've just enable it to try, dont work, disable it again.

I've allready tried rootsh 1.5 and rootsh 1.8.
Same result, no idea what happens.

With "rootsh echo" instead of "sudo echo", the same result..permission denied.

Dont know what happens and how to solve it :'(
