I think the portrait mode task manager has been DA BOMB so far... though sometimes it doesn't flip to portrait in some situations. not many of them... but some small occasions where it doesn't flip to portrait on it's own.

besides that, there really hasn't been much issue about the current use of CSSU. it has been great. I'm using almost everything the CSSU added in the features. The only thing not being used is the z rotation or any other form of rotation animation cause I think it still doesn't look natural enough. I put all rotation transitions to 0 to get instantaneous rotation effects which is cool to me anyway

Is there a way to update only specific elements from the cssu? For example I would like the improvments to modest but not so much the new camera-ui (yet) and all the rotation garbage.

tl;dr

How to update modest to latest cssu version, nothing else?

Yes it is very possible in fact I am doing that because of the buggy QT.
Just go here and download all the latest version of the applications you need
http://repository.maemo.org/communit...remantle/free/
Again don't download all just pick 1 version

help!!!
after checking the tree view(?) mode in the e-mail settings, the e-mail is no longer working! i can not even start the app to change the settings and i keep getting the internal error application e-mail closed!
sorry if this is already answered. checked the bug list but couldnt find anything...

Try to update, there was a bug in the app.

you need to:

apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
Do this as root. Or try to use HAM (hildon application manager)

edit: don't forget to have cssu repos enabled

It was mentioned earlier somewhere; disable the tree view from xterm with the following:
