as mentioned before, that might be my secret "perpetuum mobile computer" patches,
recharging the battery from the acceleration sensor

I just wanted to take this opertunity to say a massive THANKYOU to Telnet for starting this thread and getting the ball rolling and to Lehto and Titan for all the amazing work they've done to bring us (stable) overclocking.
I started with Lehto's 125-900 kernel and then went on to use titans overclocking apps, im currently using Titan's maemo25 with ulv settings and its absolutely brilliant.
So THANKYOU guys, you really are the Heroes of the maemo comunity

It's all gray.

If your screen dies, you could probably get warranty service regardless; I doubt Nokia service would turn you down.

If your phone dies outright with a CPU failure, you could be in trouble. Even if you reflash non-OC and it dies after (say, in a year), in theory they could legitimately argue that you contributed to its premature failure.

I'd say - don't do it unless you're willing to risk it all.

I'm personally running at 500 / 750 / 1000 with a custom voltage map, and I'm also hard on the device.. constantly compiling, capturing video, flash browsing, and backing up with tar/bzip2. I routinely drain the battery within 6 hours while driving the CPU up to 45C.

I recognize that my phone could pop at any moment, but that's a risk I'm willing to take, because for me, it's just the perfect device at this speed. The coolest piece of technology I've ever owned, by far. If it dies, I'll buy another.

The only thing I'm missing now is a discrete wearable display.

titan. could you plz create your 250-900 ulv kernel like lehtos kernel??

Because i really cant understand all of this commands in x-terminal.

Right now i have lehtos 125-900 mhz kernel.. had it since 3 weeks.

I love when the phone is in idle. the battery drains like 2-3% in 4-5 h in idle. But the big problem is in heavy usage. Like today i could only use the phone heavy 2 h before it died. i was surfing and listening to webmusic.

So i really wnt try your ulv 250-900 mhz kernel titan.....

echo bq27x00_battery >> /etc/modules
@Titan:
The above script works, it still displays the battery temperature after rebooted. However, I don't understand the last command. The /etc/modules which is a file name not a directory. Therefore, /etc/modules is a new name for bq27x00_battery.
Am I right? Should I create /etc/modules direcoty prior to echoing (bq27x00_battery >> /etc/modules)?
Please explain to me.
Thanks

Sorry, I found the answer after taking a closer look at /etc/modules. >> is an appended to the modules, and it tells which module to be started at the boot time.
Thanks
