Thank you Javi for all your work on this, any timeframe as to when average users can download this like the other emulators? Thanks!

If i were to enable extras-devel and install it can i disable extras-devel after installation and still use the emulator?

I'm still in the early learning stages of maemo and I really don't want to brick my phone, it would be like losing a new family member

I'd love to see this available to 'average' users too, is there anything that can be done to move this along to the extras repo?
You can temporarily enable and disable extras-devel. I do that during development of my own software.

Two things to please remember: 1) developers have software in extras-devel for a reason so be sure to understand those reasons before moving ahead, and 2) extras-devel has no QA so be careful of apps doing things like installing to the OS part of memory (rootfs) eating up space needed for OS upgrades.

Besides my own software which I need to test, I run nothing out of extras-devel*. I'm also waiting patiently for DrNokSnes to be put into extras-testing.

* Ok, not entirely true. For a business presentation I installed BlueMaemo.

EDIT: You mentioned being an inexperienced user. Waiting patiently is not just for new people but also longer time people like me who have owned a 770, n810, and an 900.

Please note that I have a bugtracker -- https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/?gr...1014&atid=3790 , and a feature request tracker -- https://garage.maemo.org/tracker/?gr...1014&atid=3791 .
Mostly because I tend to forget about things...

I do not demand any specific template for bug reports, and in fact I would even accept something as generic as "music in super luigi paintball 23 sounds wrong". My only petition for the trackers is please don't file duplicate bugs and please do not post "me too" messages unless requested or unless you have additional information.

Of course, I also welcome patches (specially for bug reports).

Ok, 1.3.1 is on extras-devel. Changes are Zeemote single player support, the player 2 controls are now configurable in the Fremantle user interface, and SDD1 games (like Street Fighter Alpha 2) should work a bit better.

If no major bugs are found, this is the one I'm pushing to -testing.

'lut,

merci

thank you for the work, but I have to go bug with Zeemote if it is malfunctioning in 2 player with a Sixaxis + Zeemote is good, apart from the bug described above and still the problem of slowdown in games as in the version 1.3.0

thank you

A+

What do you expect? Javi still doesn't have a zeemote. Noone bothered to donate one to him.

You all are asking him to fix things, to implement new features, to speed up things etc etc. He's working on every single request from everyone of you. Still noone has managed to donate a zeemote in return? Am i the only one who thinks that this is wrong?

Why don't you just send two of your four zeemotes to javi? That way you'll very likely soon have a working drnoksnes setup with two zeemotes which sure is more than what you have atm.
