Better to say that browser has separate certificate store. Mfe uses system-wide.

You need to save the certificate to the device, open it in the file manager and press "Install" button. [It will not be displayed if the certificate has no "CA" field. There is no way to install such certificates in the device due to the security requirements.] After this, certificate shall be visible from the "Certificates" application in the control panel.

her N900 stuff on http://kaz911.blogspot.com

It was decided for simplicity as far as I remember. By UI designers. Do you need a graphical user interface to be able to configure which folder shall be displayed and which not? Will "hacker" approach (an ability to set the list of folders which shall not be synced via gconftool-2 command-line tool) satisfy you?

So then the T-Mobile myTouch3G (HTC Magic) is an Enterprise phone because it supports Exchange fully? Not so.

Its a bad idea to try to force people into choosing precisely E vs N.

Let me just add my experience with Google. It looks like the intermittent problem happens when you have multiple devices connecting to Gmail. Google seems to limit the number of devices/IP addresses connecting to the same account, at the same time.

Anyway, I have successfully synced my contacts (I don't care that much for email and calendar btw) to the N900 via MFE. If you encounter a timeout while syncing your Gmail account via MFE, quit and on the N900 browser, go to any of the following (I created them so I can easily go to them):

http://tr.im/gunlock
http://bit.ly/gunlock

I created the 'gunlock' tag/url (which stands for Google Unlock) on most URL shortening sites so try using others if you don't like tr.im or bit.ly.

Btw, this works on any device when you experience the problem connecting to your Gmail (e.g. iPhone, Palm Pre).

Hope this helps.

Would it satisfy me? No - certainly not. But still better as this. Why to hell are user interface designers allowed to decide about usability at Nokia?

Maybe mail-client again; but some counter of unread mails next to each folder would help.

If MfE uses the mail client - why are you guys not blameing them

Whatever I wish? Well - haveing a bunch of sub-folders I have to click around like crazy. Funny your "user-interface" guys - probably the should get some extra "usability!!" guys next to them.

So what? "Push Email, calendar and contacts with Mail for Exchange." - this is what the N900 stands for. And it works - the question is how!
