So, could someone give me a definitive answer.

If we cancel our contract, can we still keep our phones?

From what I understand, hearing from experiences of other users, if you have had the phone for less than 3 months, they ask for it back. If you have had it more than 3 months AND you're allowed to cancel, you can keep the phone.

But I remember Vodafone saying that they are selling you the service and the phone is included and as Vodafone don't manufacture the phones themselves they have no control over asking for them back.

Don't take my word for it, that's just how I understand it is, which may be entirely wrong, considering the absolute utter amount of conflicting information being thrown about on the Vodafone eForums at the moment. Really starting to detest Vodafone now.

Thats a nice bit of potentially good news. I've had mine for 6 months now and this month internet usage has hit 1GB

Thanks for the info

Where can I find the most "update-to-date" letter of complaint?

so, we've passed the 1st of june.Did anyone at all get a letter or text or phonecall?

I haven't received anything, and I made sure I went over 500mb. Will and do the same again this month just in case. Then if they charge me I guess that is a valid cause for terminating the contract due to them making changes (which they also HAVEN'T notified me about). Could possibly even play dumb when/if they charge me in case they try and say that if I knew about charges via the web, then that counts as being notified.

Anyone else?

My plan of action is the same. I have not been notified so I will wait to be called. When they ask me to pay more - i will refuse - mentioning what you just did.

Given no choice I will ask for the following:

- Increase my allowance to 1GB. or
- Cancel my contract

I wonder which one they will go for. If they try to charge a termination fee I will cancel my direct debit, and raise a complaint with the FCC.

Still no notification of any extra charges for me. No letter, no text, nothing. used 700mb during May, intend to use at least the same again through June. Surely if they really intended introducing these charges they would have notified all thier customers?

My internet usage over the last 3 months has been:

March - 700.421MB
April - 660.995MB
May - 1.091GB

I have not heard anything from Vodafone regarding this yet. I wonder how long it will take them to tell me to cut down.
