That's all they seem to be though, bugs. They will soon get fixed with a firmware/software update no doubt

Sorry, cant remember who said what but- I don't know about the low battery sound as I'd kept in on charge whilst using it- hence, no, it wasn't a case of the battery being out (sorry again because this is starting to look like I'm double posting but it's not intentional). I haveit on charge as we speak, and attempted to do that while it was switched off, but it automatically boots when you plug it in- and therefore froze again on the white balloons.. yep- so we think it has bricked. Nice one Nokia

This is indeed really rather worrying. It seemed at first that MPD stock was OK. really hope mine works properly! tho maybe there's hope? my n82 that i've still got now did a few random reboots in the first week of having it. couldnt reproduce them, would just happen a few times. still happens every now and again but is very very rare. so maybe its something that'll settle over time?? Cant really see how it can happen that way but thats the way it went with my n82. however, i still rekon if i get one thats got the dreaded random reboots i may just send it back if it doesnt sort its self out after a day or two.

Hi one and all, I have been following this for some time now and finally on Sunday night (06/12) decided to order the N900. I currently have a N97 on 18month contract with Vodafone 1200m unlimited texts and web. The wife has a rubbish pay as you go phone so Sunday night ordered the N900 on Vodafone new contract so I can switch the sims, I get theN900 and she is happy as can be to get the N97.

To cut along story short, Monday (07/12) staus was awaiting stock and today (08/12) has now changed to Ready for dispatch.

I do feel for all you that have ordered some time back, but thought I should post here even though it is my first, just so you can see my time scale. I will update upon arrival.

I have had mine over 2 weeks and I have to say the more I use the handset the more I like it. The phone rebooting sounds like a hardware fault, Ive installed over 30 Apps on mine and have not had a single reboot. I would advise reinstalling the firmware and see how you get on. If it is still doing it take it back. If my phone was rebooting like that I would not be happy.

How do you do that?
