Android App Market App sizes have increased to 4GB. This is great news for game developers and other apps that rely on large amounts of data!

That's a MUCH better interface than the first one. Night and day.

I started talking with my girlfriend about google TV this morning. If I can find a solid box for $199-$299, it would be worth picking up, and enhance our theater experience significantly.

That's a LARGE part of the problem with the RIAA's ravaging war against piracy--they often don't CARE that you bought your music... they have a very bizarre "downloading is stealing" mantra going on that would actually be pretty bizarre and dangerous if people believed it. Thankfully, it seems most people do not.. but it doesn't stop them from bringing them into court and settling with people--whether innocent or guilty or anything in between.

Dude... I'm thinking like... that Rock Band stage kit they made for the XBOX 360 where it had lights and fog machine! Only your ANDROID APPS (like... Rockband for Android) would control your already-existing home lighting and other relevant devices!

That could be very cool! ...or very terrifyingly bad. heheh

Haha... That's a really cool usage! It could be incredibly fun!

Here's an interesting tidbit from the Google IO Android fireside chat:
There are no plans to support OpenCL!

This is actually quite disconcerting, as openCL will be a major part of the upcoming SoC featuresets and can enable some fantastic performance and lower power management.

This feels like the Android position on GPU acceleration all over again. I'm guessing there will be some time before it's supported. Here's hoping that plans change..
