Google just gave the crowd the upcoming Galaxy Tab 10.1! That's amazing..

Now, I'm jealous I didn't go for more than one reason... Damn!
Do u have to be on a special list or something?

Or u simple buy a ticket to be at one of these events.

You just buy a ticket. That alone is not cheap.

Considering I want to move back to Silicon Valley sometime this year or maybe even next year at the latest, I wouldn't mind and very likely CAN show up at these next time around. I'll have to start considering re-starting my old Linux-based gadgets podcast again. Hmm?

It gets my approval. FINALLY, you get to see what the BEST and MOST SELLING and so on and so on are. It's about damned time. I like it a lot.

The Galaxy S II has been overclocked to 1.5GHz!

http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/12/s...-obliterate-be

At this frequency it's very stable. The hacker was able to get up to a whopping 2GHz with very modest voltage increases, but lost stability. Still, there's the possibility that it can go higher still!

This looks like a fun game for Android 2.2 devices and above.

Introducing Cordy:

It looks like a simple platformer but has some novel concepts that seem to work well in 3D. It also has a pleasant style.

This game came pre-installed with the XOOM, and otherwise costs $2.99 to purchase.

Here's the trailer for Gamelofts Asphalt 6 -- an arcade racer.

The game looks great, featuring sharp, stylish graphics. It looks like it would be a genuinely fun racing game.

My only complaint with the graphics is that the cars could have had better lighting applied to them that more closely reflected the course rather than a one-size-fits-all shader -- they look odd in night scenes..

Now these are impressive graphics!

This is coming soon for Android and iOS and looks really fun. I have a soft spot for racers.

Not quite Starcraft but a stylish sci-fi real-time-strategy:

StarFront: Collision

This type of game could work so well on a tablet. I would try it.

When is Gameloft coming to the Android market already?!

This is really cool. Here's Qualcomm's famous NeoCore test ported to WebGL and run in the Android Browser!

WebGL is really something. Move most of your processing into the GPU and it's quite a capable 3D environment.
