Nokia is sending out an invitation for an event in cologne on August 17th which seems to be about WP7. On this event you can win a Xbox or a Nokia WP7 smartphone. The rumor is that Nokia will show their first wp7 handset there and not as expected in October at Nokia World, because at that time everybody is talking about the next iphone. I hope this isn’t true, because that means Nokia will release the wp7 phone fist and than the N9 (for major market like germany, usa, uk...)

Does somebody know where in cologne the event takes place and do you need an invitation to take part? i’m living next to cologne and if is’t possible i would go to that „Soiree"

About the Samsung Galaxy 2 and screen quality I agree that they have the best at the moment luckily the N9 will be up to par (according to some reviewer - I think it was gsmarena).
I've tried the N9 and the screen really were impressive - i've only seen a GS2 a few times so (a friend got it) its hard to say if its just as good.
Battery times: you could put a 2000mah in GS2 and it still wouldn't last a day

IIRC it mentioned a very rough time-frame...
At least one or two other carriers or retailers have been mentioned too.
So you're not alone in revealing retailers/carriers + rough time-frames.
Of course, only when you feel you can.....

As I read it they will be showing some development versions of WP7 phones with xbox integration, at best. In fact this would neatly fit into simultaneous introduction of N9 or Nokia tablet, because Mr. Elop seems to have this funny habit of trying to kill non-windows marketing event with quick WP followup.
