Ok I tell you what open terminal and as root type the following:

Code:
apt-get install system-ui --reinstall

Give me the output of the above then I'll tell you what to do next...

Edit: Btw if you are wondering why you are having errors its most probably due to installing ALL Applets option instead of individually installing them...

using the terminal, an installation is done about 1 min..the output is just installation progress.
In the tweak, I tried to install only fb, after several lines it says:
Errors were encountered in installing...
fb was successfully installed !!
is this normal ?!!?
Still no change...

See I need your output! Please take a screenshot or type the output here or get it via SSH but without output I can't help you...

Repeat the command I had posted earlier and give me the output only then I'll advise you...Also remember that command I posted has to be done as root in terminal...

Edit: N9QT is a collection of scripts...If you had errors in the installation process even if it at the end it says installation successful; it most probably failed...

the following packages will be upgraded:
system-ui
1 upgraded, 0 newly installed
need to get 241kb of archives.
Do you want to continue?"
I choose yes, I get:
it downloaded 241kb from maemo url of system ui then:
"reading database
preparing to replace system ui 1.3.2-1+0m8
Unpacking replacement
aegis-installing system-ui
setting up system-ui
xsession/sysuid start/running, process 5358
updating desktop entries...done"

Ok now open N9QT and follow exactly:

Tweak T-3-1-3-0

Give me the output of this first

Tip: Use Screenshotmee to take screenshots instead of typing...Its pretty cumbersome to type so much out

Aha caught you

You are not using OPEN MODE!

Use inception method instead...Do the following:

Tweak T-3-1-1-0

After the above is successful I think you should have no problems carrying on with installation of all applets...You wouldn't need to post output any more since I am quite sure it'll work now...

I think that you haven't Open Mode kernel (also you haven't created .status-menu folder manually).

EDIT: thedead1440 was faster than me

Like what death_jax said just create the folder too:

as user in terminal NOT root:

Code:
mkdir /home/user/.status-menu
Then carry on with the command I gave you in previous post...
