After that last one, I'm a tad bit ticked off still. Whatever the solution may be, I'm gonna guess differently. I've actually solved out 3 of these, but the name being spelled backwards got me, as were a few "in reverse" on input clues.

But I'm a glutton for punishment. I'll be doing it anyway.

Nokia 500 announced yesterday, already got a release day on o2 Germany (mid September).

Nokia N9 announced two month ago and still no signs if it’s ever gonna hit german markets. FAIL

^ Really, nothing for Germany? That's bizarre.
Could've sworn I'd seen a few people post links to retailers/carriers.

There's def. a spike in availability dates 4 various retailers/carriers around the world.
And they all seem to corroborate one another for their respective regions/countries.
Looking a bit more upbeat IMO....

People need to stop complaining about pricing. It's currency exchange people, different markets, different prices. iPhone unlocked is $750 in 32GB. N9 is 64GB.

iPhone in my native country starts at $1000 for 16GB. Uh, sucker phone.

Yeah someone posted this the other day, but thanks!

That's a great page to get an idea of what's 'coming down the pipe'.
Aside from the apps* Nokia's working on internally, & alongside external partners.

*by 'apps' I don't mean stuff already built-in.

there are few (3-5) shops having the n9 (800€-1100€), but no release date. And those shops aren’t really credible. Would be different if retailers like amazon had it listed.
But the point is, that a low end device like the 500 which got presented yesterday already got an availability date at a provider (o2) and that makes me furious !!!

To add to the information about availability / release dates, I came across the following post, on a web site of Nokia's here in South Africa:

http://ringaz.nokia.co.za/mobile-dev...-south-africa/

Quote:

We’ve been listening to you a lot, on Twitter, on the blog, on Facebook. And the most commonly ask question has certainly been: is the Nokia N9 is coming to South Africa? Today we are delighted to put that one to rest. Yes it is! In the coming months, we expect that the major operators and retailers will have the svelte, swiping, multi-tasking masterpiece available locally.
So keep up the noise, requests and demands, and hopefully there'll be some response!
