I somehow had to re-promote 0.17.0-4, but I saw it as an update on my N810 just now, so it seems like it's available in Extras now. Sorry for the delay

Hmm I've noticed a bug (not sure if it's just my system). Despite changing video playback to mplayer, it still defaults to the regular media player for youtube videos. Oh and regardless of player (I opened the video manually) it's choppy since it downloads it as an mp4 (high quality I'm guessing?)

Edit: Might I add a suggetion, that you can create a playlist of podcasts in gpodder?

I suggested that aaaaaages ago. ...like.. a third tab (or now, another button like the 'Downloads' button) to bring up a whole playlist manager for a whole list of podcasts to pass on to your media player.

Aw well.

Yep, that's a bug. Please file it in the bug tracker at https://bugs.maemo.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=gPodder

So, guys and gals.. We're going to need some people to test a new version of gPodder for the N8x0 tablets. I'm currently working on some (hopefully) nice UI improvements, and I'd like to have some testing done before the "real" release will be out. Please contact me if you want to test the new version Be aware that it might break things (as always)..

Sorry if this is a repeat but can you play your podcast over the FM transmitter (n900) to your car stereo so you can listen to your podcast when you drive to work? Is this is a feature then can you turn it on within the application or do you need to go out and sink (turn on) your FM transmitter first?

I don't think that would have anything to do with gpodder. I imagine gpodder would kick off the media player of your choice--and it's the player's responsibility to do any playback through an FM transmitter. Take a look around the forum to see if you can find anything on the N900's media player.

You certainly know I'm good for it. Throw me on the distribution list for that.
