UPDATE: I think I've found it, the lockfile is not checked properly so it might be keeping the downloader from activating:
rm -f /var/lock/fmms_dl.lock
should solve it until I get a patch out.
Hopefully this is what causing the problems

Dear frals,
Congratulations for your great app!!!
I'm having a problem with fMMS 1.0.3. Both sending and receiving a MMS is extremely slow in my device. I use Havoc mode and I'm connected to a 3.5G network (usually 3G). I've tried sending a MMS to other mobile phone and also to my own phone (text + small picture 30kb MMS). In both cases, after tapping the send button, fMMS seems to hang more than 2 minutes sending the MMS. After that, it reports "MMS sent" or something like that. When sent to my own phonenumber, the MMS delays a lot to be notified by the N900 and when opening fMMS it keeps "trying to download MMS" during a long time. When sent to the other mobile phone, the MMS has not been received (it is a N95 8Gb in Movistar network), although my operator has already billed for it as a MMS.
I'm connected to Pepephone in Spain (http://www.pepephone.com/ppm_web/ppm...t=1&p_idetip=4), which uses Vodafone's network. I'm not connected to any other internet connection (Wifi or gprs) while testing fMMS anf the APN seems correctly configured (I've cross checked many times).
Configured connection parameters for MMS are:
APN: mms.pepephone.com
Username: wap@wap
Password: wap125
Use Proxy: Yes
Proxy: 212.073.032.010
Port number: 80
Message server: http://mms.pepephone.com/servlets/mms
Do you know anything about this?
Thank you.
Iker.

Submitted 1.1.4 which should have fixed the issue. Please verify when it has appeared in -devel and if it's working or not
