And for me also the gray ticks bug (closing, reopening chat windows resets message statuses to unsent).

Might actually be related to the `last time seen' bug: when opening, a jabber:iq:last is sent out, the reply (of course) is still 501/feature-not-implemented; perhaps this triggers a reset of sent messages?

As another hint it only happens to chats sent out during the current session. Anyway, I voted this one down in testing, but this is by no means because I don't appreciate all the hard work! This is what testing is for, please keep it going

Voting down doesn't help. This way you are telling users to keep previous version, wich didn't connect to server.
We already explain that some functions in new protocol might not work yet.

Anyways, I've already sent to ceene the new protocol last seen.
Please wait for next update.

The previous version (2.0.2) worked fine and is already in the main repo..?

when somebody sends me a message or i get a group chat, yappari only displays the number (if this contact is not in my sim) and doesn't display anything in the group title.

Thank you CepiPerez and ceene for continuing and supporting this great WA Client. Although I hadn't been using this since Scorpius announced the retirement (problems with the device, very lazy guy, so did not reflash until yet) but I look forward to reflash my baby in some days and start using WA again.

So when they changed the protocol and we got in a little problem with Yappari but some guys were quick to find the problem and patch it (You guys were fast), they also announced WA Web. That is something really cool, you just scan the QR Code on web.whatsapp.com from your WA client on phone and Voila! now you can use it on Chrome on your desktop. But there are some strings too, WA Web is just a mirror of the WA phone client and the moment your WA client disconnects on phone your session is over on WA Web too. Also, for now you can only use it on Chrome.

So, I would want to know if it is possible that Yappari can do that too. We only have to scan the QR code and somehow send that data to WA servers (I think it is simple as that) to use it on web. Here are some links:

Yes we are (devs) know about web whatsapp application even before it was announced for you (users), and yes, it is very easy to implement, it just require big amount of work, but work is not hard at all. But do you think it's the higest priority feature which is missing in Yappari, and we should start implementing it now and stop fixing all other existing bugs?

No. Of course bugs need to be fixed first. I just wanted to know if it is possible. Because that will be really cool.
