This forum is nothing but hunches... by members, or by retailers. I hope you're right, but what makes your hunch so powerful?

NO!!!! All these hunches and confident statements are the reason behind why the N900 is delayed!

I blame nuknuk! *points finger*! Everytime he quotes a date the n900 doesnt arrive and gets delayed further. Its him i tell you, its him.

Every time some new device is announced that creates a lot of interest, there are threads like this that go on endlessly trying to guess when the device is going to come out. They are full of hunches, "inside" information, endless criticism of the manufacturer for not delivering the product on a schedule tailored to the convenience of the particular person posting in the thread, and finally very long off topic debates. I think it's just a way of passing the time between the first announcement, when there's lots of new information, and the interminable lull when there's no news and everyone is just waiting. Unfortunately, checking threads like this, on a daily basis, only exaggerates the sense of time passing and torments the expectant user of the upcoming device (yours truly included).

I preordered N900 @ Amazon USA yesterday night.

Today morning when i checked the order status, the expected delivery date was after December 25th.

I was pi**ed off and cancelled the order.

Bad luck i have to leave USA by 18th December.

NOBODY has recieved shipping confirmation yet. That thread makes me angry.
