Similar to how some can overclock to 1150Mhz on XLV and be stable. Whereas others can only get to 1000Mhz on Ideal. The weirdness of computers and hardware :P
I guess I have the good batch of device then
I don't have problem with 1.15GHz overclocking either. But I find it unnecessary to overclock mine. I'm running stock 600Mhz and happily

Actually I want to give this a try again right now. Going to install PowerKernel once again after stopped using it for 1year.

Have a look at Pali's patches as well He is updating Power Kernel now and trying to fix all the bugs

Pali Kernel Power

As for the good batch thing. I used to be able to run 1000Mhz only XLV but then my USB port broke and it was sent to Nokia repair. After the repair. Antyhing below Ideal causes my N900 to just become unstable

Dont know what they did but they somehow hurt my overclockability Although im running at 1000Mhz with my own voltage values and still saving battery

my n900 also has no problem with 1150mhz on ideal. No reboots or any other problems. I have WSEGL_UseHWSync enabled and it's working beautiful.

We also have devices, and CSSU is for all. Some still have issues, some components still have pretty annoying bugs (camera-ui is waiting for the next release for fixes).

It is available is cool form in testing, and it will be available is stable form when stable. I'm assuming and older, less buggy version will be marked as stable, since future releases seem to have even more features added.

Frankly, I live better with the new bugs than the old, so it's -testing for me.

Last I checked, the profiles were identical over 900 MHz?

Yeah I was showing how some people have different experiences. Not just voltage, but clockspeed.

Also they are identical over 900Mhz but most people dont starve their N900 at 1000Mhz. Instead they have it jump from 250 to 900 or 500-900 ect.

Thats where the different voltage profiles are different.

I looked into profiled, and apparently, the N900 can support more profiles, it pretty much had support for it from the start!
Unfortunately, the UI team decided general and silent were enough, so you can't add profiles easily.
I'll look more into this (it seems to be fully working, different ringtones for different profiles etc), but it needs a UI rewrite of both the status bar applet, AND the control panel applet.
You know that profilesx is doing exactly that?
Writing the UI for the control panel-ui was a pain
(and not my best work :-) )

Sorry for asking the question over and over again, but does someone know how to revert back to the stock camera ui?

Thanks in advance.

I tried doing apt-get install camera-ui but that didn't work.

apt-get install --reinstall camera-ui=1.1.29.1+0m5

and reboot (or killall camera-ui)
