Ok fine i said i ll quit caring abt nokia and all but still coud'nt!!!
btw did anybody notice that for the first time nokia has somehow managed to hold back completely verifiable information on nokia meego devices.they are doing suprsingly well somehow considering how last year every phone nokia releases had its info known to common public

Doubtful. Via the SEC limitations, he couldn't sell off his shares until that time has past, he's stuck basically.

Nokia had already devalued itself while under OPK, and the continued trend is mostly due to established management decisions, not new ones.

The new decisions have yet to even truly start with making products.

And as it stands, Microsoft is also following a devaluing trend; so it'll be seen as a strategic partnership between two companies that are not in their prior glory.

Blame Ballmer for the 10 year decline in Microsoft. Blame OPK for the 4 year decline in Nokia. Blame Elop for the sudden decline in R&D for MeeGo/Maemo/Symbian... damn, that's a lot and to not have a replacement for those yet? Yeah, I blame the board of advisors that brought on Elop too.

I meant to ask this earlier, can we get a hint if the "new technology" is enabled by a touchscreen controller such as this one?

We saw this on a medfield prototype, I was hoping it would make it to a production model... has some very unique features.
  • Support for ‘pre-touch’ proximity detection to develop enhanced user applications
  • Angle of touch can be used to determine orientation of a finger touching the surface
    – potentially useful for recognizing which hand is touching.
  • A conductive stylus of <3 mm in diameter is supported on mobile phone sized toucscreens, allowing for easy character based input .

Maybe you are right. Is it out in the wilds yet? Have yet to encounter it.

I really don't understand why people feel so happy everytime some rumors goes round about malware on mac.
