Yes apparently you can only buy 2x as a minimum, i thought i bought just 1 scud, but i actually bought 2, which was fine since they turned out to be so good, then i could make a dual battery right away

But anyway it is under 20$ for 2x !!!!!!
So now you also have a very good backup battery if you are planning on only using a single cell.

How comes it that you list the scud battery with 1420 mAh? On the website aliexpress.com it is listed with 1350 mAh?

about how much extra use do you get from the scud @1510?
is it a noticeable difference from stock 1320?
i want to buy but i'm thinking if should wait to see ur results from the 2250mah u have on its way.
my stock battery barely last half a day, even after switching to gsm for most use and screen brightness 3, 2hr email update etc

just under 15% extra, that is something.
Don't know when the 2250mAh will arrive, but will post as always when it is tested.

There are 2 suppliers of batteries named SCUD. One the "the green 1350mAh" version noted above is manufactured by SCUD (Fu Jian) Electronic Co., Ltd. These are sold as SCUD brand (afaics) refer to http://www.scudhk.com/cn/index.asp

The other "Blue 1420mAh" one is made by SCUD Electronics (Shenzhen) Co.,Ltd and is part of the "Kings of the Commerce" model series of the TP brand. See http://www.scudsz.com/Product/WaiMao.html

ok my ebay charger arrived. My setup does not work. Refer to the images. This is how I envisioned my charger setup to work.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

So charger has a positive and a negative. This connects to the positive and negative wires of the 2mm cable. This then connects to the 2mm male. The 2mm female is mounted inside the phone. This 2mm female and male connect directly to the + and - of the pcb battery connections.

normal state of destkop battery charger without a battery = blue. when charging a battery, charger = red. when charger is hooked up to phones battery through the phone, charger = no colour

So I'm thinking two possibilities:

- This is not working because having the phone and the battery on the same connection is confusing both of the chargers I've tried. How it differs to the original picture in the first post, is that my setup connects to the phone, and to the circuitry of the battery. Whereas the charger setup on the first post connects directly to the battery, bypassing the circuitry on the battery itself.

- The 2mm wire I am using has the wrong pinout. There are no colours to indicate which wire is positive and negative. I have just assumed the thicker of the two (substantially thicker), is positive. I can't find a schematic of the wire itself.

maybe you should try to reverse polarities or just check the + & - all the way through the hole setup.
It can sometime be very difficult to know what is "-" or "+" by just looking at 2 wires in a cable, the are not always red & black

putting the charger connection after the circuit should not cause any problems and this will not show "charging" on the phone since it only charges through the USB.
