Talking about github, would it be possible to add an option to upload any random file to Openrepos? At the current moment, I do not see the possibility to upload anything other than the installation package and screenshots.
I am thinking about for example a zipped source. I do not have a github account and would prefer not to have to create one if there is even a tiny chance to avoid it but it would be nice to share the source somehow.

Well, having sources in the apt repository has one definite advantage - one can simply apt-get source the very version!

or were you trying to think of a way to share code you have with other people? Running git on a server is much easier than I thought it would be.

Custodian, is it possible ORN to provide the source package hosting too? For Fremantle we had extras, the sources were automatically there when building for source. And when using ORN, getting the sources is not that baby-easy.
And, since we're such an open source community - it should be. Basically it should be enough to make an `apt-get source` call (or it's zypper/pkcon counterpart on Sailfish)

But I cannot force publishers to provide such sources. Most of them, who cares about sources already provide links to github/other scm with sources and/or tarballs.
