I sent an email on Tuesday, Nokia's support, and the answer is as follows ...:

"Hey catbus,

Thank you for contacting Nokia Care.

Glad to hear that you are interested in the future model. Unfortunately, the exact date is not yet known, N9 sales start. I recommend to follow the media and dealers to inquire about the situation.
I have entered your inquiry and forward your feedback.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

So, even Nokia does not seem to know when the N9 arrives in Finland...

Or more likely they don't wanna reveal it yet, for whatever reason.
You would be the first one i have heard who would get something announce worthy material before announcement by sending email to a company.

Could've sworn VKB was locked to portrait only...
[Unless I'm thinking of the 3x home-screens, which are locked by default]
This vid @4:30min seems to indicate that's no longer the case by default.

Seems it will only start sell to the Operators listen and mine is not the one

Harmattan is using Maliit framework(same as CE) so sound wierd if it didnt have landscapemode :-)

Maliit its very powerful :-) Also makes it easy write own VKB "plugins"

not remember the original teaser with jessie's girl? VKB was in portrait on that also.
