the VKB most definitely rotates to landscape. The 3 homescreens support rotation but it is disabled.

Just a short update:

it looks like Nokia is really not going to release the N9 in Germany. Amazon.de now says that the listed N9 (619€ 16GB) is imported from Austria, where it will hit the market (with and without contract) soon.

On the Meego Community Device program page for N950, one of the recipients' projects was to implement Infrastructure mode AP (since kernel 2.6.32+ supports it, but the driver may not yet), but that may or may not (e.g may work without) work with joikuspot.
