The finnish nokia online store stated in a finnish forum that they will get the first N900s (in the world? or finland) and they would get them week 44 (oct. 26 - 1 nov).

@Dieg Do you know whether spain is a "selected market"? I also pre-ordered a month ago on the nokia.es site, and am curious to know whether Spain is in the selected market group. TIA!

Maybe i am wrong. But when they use the words 'select markets' they mean all the places where it is available.
So if you were able to order the device, you are in the "select markets". If you were'nt able to order it in your country, you are not.
I think some dude talked about it not being available in brasil. So i guess brasil is one of the places which is not part of "select markets".
It sound scary i know, but that's all there is to it.
