Ok, i'll promote the zeemote config tool as well, then.

Edit: The promotion tool thinks a library should not be in section user/* (control panel plugins are always libraries by Nokias design). Thus it doesn't allow the zeemote-conf tool to be promoted.

Javier, would you be so kind to remove zeemote support from DrNokSnes? I don't think this problem should affect your nice emulator.

Ouch. Can I promote it with the actual client & conf libs at least, and leave the control panel plugin (it was on another package now, didn't it?) for later?

(This is either fixed in policy, or you'll have to a) ship a dumb binary b) actually make it an app instead of a control panel item... (not sure about this).)

IMO this emu is almost perfect and should be in the regular Testing repo.

SNES emulation will always be slower than MegaDrive, but quoting myself, DrNokSnes is already fullspeed on some games. It goes up to 135fps in the Chrono Trigger intro without sound (at least comparable to the public Pandora SNES videos show). And you can expect a nice 58-59fps in Mario Kart with sound.

the emu is great i know, but i have yet to see such rates, mario all stars, castlevainia, street fighter 2. I just tried mario kart and not getting near 30fps in race (checkin fps on left corner)

You likely can. But the libs without the config tool are a waste of precious flash space.

Maybe it's the name of the package (libzeemote-conf) the promotion tool doesn't like. I just don't know and would prefer if you just disable zeemote support for now. Perhaps you can just "#if 0" your code and perhaps later it can be re-enabled.

After all the number of zeemote users seems to be really REALLY low, so it doesn't make much sense to spend too much time with such a niche feature.

Use 2x scaler, and enable turbo mode for any real measurement.

Well, if that's your wish...
