Nice idea! Ordered 2 through your shop. I remember 770 having similar idea implementation for a separate stand (add together 2 plastic pieces in that case), might have a few lying around at the offices.. Too bad N900 stand is so crappy

Can't wait to ship these out tomorrow... I went to the post office again today and they offered me some good pointers on ensuring things get through customs/etc.

I am finding some joy in making the whole process efficient (which it currently.. is not).

Well concerning customs, I don't think they will even check small envelopes this value. You can mark them as a gift also. I have NEVER paid customs on items of less than... 40-50$ value!
But I paid customs for my N900

I marked all envelopes as "merchandise" containing one "stand for mobile phone", and a suitably low value.

Are they marked "Do not bend" or similar?

No, but they are packed in bubble envelopes, with each individual part wrapped in plastic wrap and either taped together as a flat unit or sandwiched between a section of paper.

I sincerely doubt that any mail equipment could possibly damage them. I am confident that the strength of the stand materials and packaging are more than enough to get them through the postal system.

I was wondering if it would be possible to make a stand that allows the n900 to be placed in a 90 degree upright position? Maybe a stand that has both 45 and 90 degree positions or even better; one that is adjustable to any angle between those positions.

Fake, I'm desperately trying to order 6 wodden stands (2 x MULTIPLE PACK!), but your store doesn't let me. It states that the item is currently sold out (with a smiley), hence I cannot add them to the shopping card. Is there a problem with the store or is this how it's supposed to be? I'll keep trying during the weekend and really hope I can get those awesome stands. I and two of my colleagues would be very disappointed otherwise. Cheers!
