sudo gainroot
apt-get install kernel-power-settings

Titan.. the latest kernel in the repos are maemo25 and kernel-power-settings 0.6

He most likely missed the part to install kernel-power-settings

I have the latest titan kernel installed. since yesterday i try to use tethering with a program named joikuspot. it semms that joikuspot didnt work with the titan kernel?
mayby thats not right, because with stock kernel i am able to connect to my windows machine. all linux boxes cant connect with both kernels to n900 (i use wicd on debian squeeze, kernel 2.6.33)? somebody using joikuspot and can give information?

* added tonism's starving config with default limits

Titan thanks for the explains, got another thing i noticed reading dmesg log

[ 53.600494] Driver 'sd' needs updating - please use bus_type methods

this aint an error msg, but anyway looks like it could be fixed, somebody knows what is related what precisely is required to be done?

I'm just new here..

I've updated the Enhance Linux Kernel to Maemo27 for my N900.

If I may ask, is it ok to overclock this device to the ideal 500-850mhz here in the Philippines were the temperature ranges from 35-38 degs Celsius?

By the way, I also installed the leaked PR1.2 previously.

@Jokah: there are lots of warnings even in the Nokia kernel. just ignore them.
