Judging by other posts MPD claim you get a replacement in a couple of days.
Just spoke to a pleasant chap at MPD (makes a nice change)
RA number got. Says I should get a replacement straight away.

Good morning guys, got my dispatched email yesterday at 5.43pm, what time is the latest that an item can be sent by special delivery and still be guaranteed for next day? I know most companies have a cut off time but am not sure what RM's is, any clues if that makes sense?
