i expect problems since version 0.7. to me it also looks like icq doesn't even try to connect. in order to make sure i did not install something other, wich may causes this behavior, i flashed my n900 and just installed the plugin. any help would be really appreciated.

Also i downgraded the account-plugin to version 0.4 - but it's still not working.

is there a log file, or anything else wich may helps for further investigations? Or isn't it possible to downgrade the plugin?

regards

So can anybody tell me why it says:
gtk-update-icon-cache: Failed to open file /usr/share/icons/hicolor/.icon-theme.cache: File exists

And how to fix this issue?

Hi all, today i installed msn protocol plugin v0.7 and it works ok so far, nice integration, only problem is that once iv closed a conversation with a msn buddy i can no longer send another IM, i go into conversations and select send IM, select the contact to send it to then conversations just sits there doing nothing, a reboot of the device fixes this but it should work without rebooting, hope it gets fixed.

Got ICQ plugin working :-)

downgrade with:

apt-get install purple-extra-protocols=2.6.3-6nix0
apt-get install libpurple0=2.6.3-6nix0

account-plugin-haze may stay at 0.7

Happy ICQing,

I knew it happened after upgrading to 2.6.4 but was not aware how I could downgrade to 2.6.3.

Thanks a lot
