I talked to AT&T and they said no problem with using it on their network (assuming it will, indeed, be unlocked), just switch the SIM card from my current phone to the N900.
I recall a discussion about the phone being unlocked but want to make sure.

It also comes with a Wall charger adapter so you can use an old charger maybe.
But just get yourself a standard Wall to USB charger plug and you are set, irrespective of where you live. Or plug into your computer to charge.
