now i updated mypaint via HAM, the icon is now normal again...

Just wanted to say that I've installed MyPaint directly from the App Manager and it appears to be working beautifully! The proper icon appeared without a reboot and no other additional installations were required. Overall it was a fresh/clean install.

I promise to keep my future drawings in "Look what I drew on my phone"...

besides, you guys overclock ur n900 rite? is 800mhz OC make mypaint alil smoother? since im from warm climate country.. i dare not try 900mhz or higher..

I doubt mine is very useful because I remapped some of the hardware keyboard keys and I am not really proficient with Mypaint yet. Hopefully someone else can help with that.

I would like to suggest setting the brush icon size in brushselectionwindow.py to 72 pixels instead of 48. The brushicons are a bit too small now and at 72 pixels you get exactly 10 brushes per row.

Reordering the brushes by dragging does not seem to work anymore, is that right?

Lastly, drawing in the little brush preview window does not work very good, any idea why that is? I moved it a little to the right by setting the left vbox in brushcreationwidget.py to expand=True because the left and right borders are less responsive to pressure but that does not really help.

Anyway thanks for all the good work. Now I only have to learn drawing again

Installed it a few days ago, when it first appeared. Worked OK from first install. (the switch back to desktop was a bit scary) thought it wasn't going to happen.

Just a suggestion, if I may.

Brush icons; As most of them are labeled, would it be possible to have them zoom in when you hold the stylus over them, so you can read the label?

P.S. Some nice artwork being produced guys I like the Random Universe sketches

P.P.S. Where's the F11 key on the N900 keyboard?

Stickymick there's no F11 key, but you can remap the keys if you are using gtk_menu

You can read about how to get gtk_menu somewhere between page 5 and 10 if i remember correctly. Creativetone explains it very good and with pics
